When you come to Ethics for Children, come freely. Come for free. Explore.
You and your children are always welcome.
WHEN? Sunday mornings at 11. September through June ~~ with summer possibilities determined by parent availability. Coming consistently is of the greatest value, since we are creating community and creating Ethical friendships can become a very deep thread in a child's wellbeing! For some families, consistency is not always possible ~~ but communicating the structure of your attendance can be very helpful for planning and inclusivity.
COST: To enroll for a season, you are welcome to make a suggested family contribution of $100 per season, but this is a free-will donation, not a requirement. It may be given to the administration as a check to NYSEC, marked with a note for Ethics For Children. It is not a requirement and should in no way deter attendance.
PARENT INVOLVEMENT: Ethics for Children is not a drop off care service, but a learning element of your family's growth. If your child attends Ethics for Children, you may hold an interest in attending the events of Ethical, including the simultaneous event for adults. Some parents also enjoy participating in the children's group.
REQUEST: If your child attends Ethics for Children regularly, Ethical asks you to please commit to attending a "newcomers event." They happen monthly in order to orient people to Ethical's mission, purpose and structure. You will learn about how people have worked together for over a century to create the movement of Ethical Culture.
MEMBERSHIP OPTION:
If you sense that "THIS IS THE PLACE FOR MY FAMILY," then pursue Ethical MEMBERSHIP for your family.
How?
